Chuwi Vi10Pro: 10.6", Atom Z3736F, 2 64GB and 2 full USB

For quite a long time I have been wanting to buy a tablet that could become a replacement for a laptop both for working with office applications and for spending time somewhere on the road or on a business trip. Quite by chance, I "stumbled upon" an updated model of the Chuwi Vi10 tablet with built-in 64GB of memory, with the "Pro" in the title. The tablet seemed very interesting to me, and as it turned out later, it did not disappoint at all, but on the contrary. Details – more…

I have a modern 17-inch laptop at home, and thanks to the large screen, it is very comfortable to work with it. But due to the corresponding not small size, the laptop is not very suitable for frequent carrying or business trips. Therefore, as I have already indicated above, I have long wanted to get a tablet that could replace a laptop “on the road”.

The main selection criteria were:
– the presence of Windows
– a screen of 10 inches or more, because work with "Windows" on a smaller screen "is not good"
– at least 2 GB of RAM, built-in – at least 64 GB (because "Windows")
– the ability to connect a docking keyboard (don’t like wired or BT)
– the presence of a full-fledged USB connector (or rather several)
– the ability to recharge the tablet through a separate connector
– a more or less tenacious battery
– by itself : wifi, Bluetooth, memory card…
— price :)

Despite the simply huge selection of tablets, it turned out to be quite difficult to find the above combination in one model …

In the middle of 2015, the Chinese manufacturer of tablets under the Chuwi brand released a new model called Vi10, in which, in general, almost all my wishes were realized, except for the amount of internal memory – in the first version it was 32 GB. Unfortunately, as practice shows, in the presence of a DualBoot system, such an amount of memory is not comfortable for the operation of two operating systems, which forces the owners themselves to go for various “finishing” already.

And now, apparently on the wave of well-deserved popularity, just one or two months after the release of the first version, the manufacturer announced the release of an updated Pro version, in which the amount of internal memory was increased to 64 GB, and, best of all, the cost of the tablet at the same time, it did not exceed $160, although the docking keyboard-case is not included in the stock package, it must be purchased separately ($24).

Realizing that it looks like “this is it” the tablet was ordered along with a keyboard dock and a spare screen protector
